ARPA (Accounts Receivable Protection Accumulation) has two goals, to possibly protect a business' accounts receivable (AR) & to turn it into a performing asset. This is done by taking out a bank loan using the company's AR as primary collateral. The bank will file a UCC-1 statement, perfecting their claim on the AR. This may protect the asset from the claims of unwanted creditors.
Once the business owner has the money that was borrowed from the bank, what do they do with it? They may choose to purchase fixed insurance products. ARPA uses a combination of life insurance and/or annuity products to potentially achieve maximum accumulation and possible protection.(more)
