Allianz experience a very high volume of applications resulting from the recent premium+ Event. They were forecasting that 15,000 applications would come in during the event. The actual results of the event equated to over 25,000 applications being submitted. This has put some stress on the processing of those applications.
They have released a statement ensuring that their operations team has committed all resources to processing the business as efficiently and accurately as possible. Employees are working overtime hours and weekends, new employees are being hired, noncritical business priorities have been suspended and they are bringing in employees from other areas of Allianz to get these applications processed.
